Sleepless Nights

Alice Peters, a tall and slim blonde with blue eyes was a successful model in Paris. She lived alone in her aesthetic and colossal house. Her house was beautifully decorated with her portraits and antiques.

She spent her day-time shooting for new albums and advertisements, but her nights went sleepless.

Each night when she goes to bed, she feels something crawling over her. She hears a child giggling under her blanket and tries to rush out of her bed but is trapped.

She is trapped in each of her photographs and portraits with a child in her womb.

I am your best friend

I was single, witty, and had a few very good best friends. It was fun time hanging out with them. We used to share all the odds and evens of each others’ lives.

A time came when I fell in love with a guy named Avinash. We decided not to disclose our relationship to anyone right away. We wanted some time to know each other. Everything was working fine until my close friends came to know about my relation with Avinash. Just because I hid my relation from them for a few days, they started falling apart from me. Gradually, my best friends became just the ordinary ones.

I was hurt.

I told my boyfriend my love what has happened to me.

Me: Baby, my best friends left me for hiding my relation with you. 😦

Avinash: Do you call them best friends? Are they meant to be called best friends?

Me: But… 😥

Avinash: I am your best friend.

This was the moment when I was moved to tears.

I found a BEST FRIEND in my LOVE.

The Unseen

After a delicious dinner, Emanuel and Christine went to their bedroom. They spent romantic time watching a movie together. After a while, Christine made herself cozy in Emanuel’s arms. She was mesmerized by her husband’s charm; while he was enchanted with his wife’s beauty and dazzling hazel eyes. It was an enrapturing night when both made intense love with each other.

She fell asleep in his arms. Emanuel kissed her forehead, cuddled her from backside, and went to sleep. It was a pleasant night until Christine sensed something unusual. She woke up frightened and got off the bed. Her heart was pounding. She felt as if something was watching her. She looked around but found nothing. She thought, it might be some nightmare. She was sweating and felt thirsty, so she went to the kitchen. As she was walking through the corridor, she felt that something was following her; she turned around to see who it was. The corridor was empty. She thought, it might be just her mind that was creating such illusions. Then, she went to the kitchen and drank a glass of water.

Again she felt something behind her. She raced to the bedroom. She was fascinated to see Emanuel sleeping peacefully. She sighed with relief and stood near the window to feel cool zephyr. She was enjoying gentle wind on her face and was ensnared in it. For about a few minutes, she stood there and then she turned around to go back to sleep.

As she turned around, she was transfixed to see herself already lying in her husband’s arms.

Power of raising voice

With reference to my blog – Stand up against corruption, I realized that there is an immense power in raising our voice against unethical actions.

I was cheated by Vodafone and when I found that many other Vodafone customers were also the victim of this fraud, I took a step to fight against it.

I mailed my complaint to Vodafone nodal officer and posted on my Facebook timeline as well as Vodafone India Facebook page about how I have been cheated.

The next day I received a call from nodal office. The representative told me that she has gone through the mail I sent, negative feedback that I provided, and my conversation with the customer care guy. She added that the Vodafone team has come to a conclusion that they should credit the deducted amount in my account.

All the time during the telephonic conversation, she was still beating around the bush and trying to make me a fool that it was only my mistake to download payable files as if I am dumb.

Have I been refunded the whole amount, just because I took a stand against this fraud and came up in public to make people aware of how Vodafone cheats its customers? There have been many complaints against the same deduction of INR 30 and INR 99. Why Vodafone did not turn up to answer their complaints? Why is Vodafone accusing its own customers? If they had to refund my money, they could have in the first place when I called customer care support. But they did not. They could have even took my issue seriously when I registered a complaint in Vodafone service store. But no, they did not. They showed up only when I went on social media and mailed my grievance to nodal officer directly.

It is not that I cannot afford a few bucks. But imagine a case where mobile balance is deducted without any reason from low middle class people or poor workers’ account. They have value of each penny they earn. Many of them are not even educated to know what happened to their mobile balance and fall into the words of these fraudulent people. There have been cases where people do not even use internet, but still they have been charged for downloading. Is this acceptable? The answer is – NO.

Corruption is everywhere in India. This is just one case.

I raised my voice against corruption. You should too.

Stand up against corruption

Corruption in India has gone viral. Not even reputed companies are left out of this attack. Vodafone is one of this kind.

I am writing this blog with deep regret because I feel cheated by a reputed company like Vodafone. This is my first time that I purchased a Vodafone sim card hoping that I would be getting good services. But it was not the case as I feel cheated by Vodafone. I had a balance of INR 151 on my phone till 2nd June 2015. On 3rd June 2015, when I checked the balance I found that it was INR 22.

I called customer care support; they said that I downloaded payable files worth INR 99 and INR 30 which was absolutely false.

I tried to explain the customer care guy that I did not download anything, but it was all in vain as he would not listen to me and just blame me for whatever happened. I am not that blind to click any random links. And above this, my phone was idle lying on my desk all the time while I was working. So how is it possible for me to download anything? When I called customer care support for the first time I did not get any proper response. I tried calling again and they would pick my phone and not answer. On the fourth attempt another guy answered the call. I explained him the entire thing again but still in vain. When I told him that this was just not acceptable, he told me that all he can do is refund me INR 30 and not the rest. I tried to ask him why, but there was no proper response. They refunded me INR 30 but did not refund INR 99.

Feeling frustrated and cheated I went to the Vodafone office (Rambaug, Maninagar) and registered my complaint. They told me that I will receive a call from Vodafone office till 6th June 2015 and resolve my query.

I went home and searched about the downloaded files that were conveyed to me by the customer care guy. And to my surprise I found that many customers are victim of this fraud. I also checked on the consumer forum of India website and found out that many customers have been cheated like me. I am using the word cheated because it is completely unethical what I have faced and no one from Vodafone is ready to take the responsibility. All they are doing is blaming customers for downloading stuffs which is false.

It is nothing related to downloads; it is a clear fraud case where Vodafone deducts the amount from balance without noticing the customer.

The files are:

I am attaching two images so that you can see for yourself how Vodafone has been troubling its customers. I am also providing you the link of consumer court of India forum for your further reference. Here it is:

You can read how people have written that they feel cheated and that it is a fraud by Vodafone.

I had never expected such unethical stuffs from a reputed company like Vodafone. If it was just me then I would still understand, but it is not only me, there are many customers with the same problem. So this clearly defines how Vodafone values its customers.

“Never encourage corruption and corrupted people. Stand up against corruption. Raise your voice so that you can be heard.”
